Trip to Wheatland, Wyoming

Rod & I took a little trip with Maycee to Wyoming on the 22 & 23 of April to get a pickup from my brother Mark at Laramie Peak Motors in Wheatland. We left Sunday afternoon right after church and drove to Sidney, Nebraska and spent some time at Cabela's looking at all the animals on display. Then we went into Wyoming and spent the night at Cheyenne. Maycee's first request when we got to the motel was to go swimming. Papa Rod had packed his own clothes this time (amazing) and forgot to put in his suit. So.... Maycee and I had a good time in the hot tub. Monday morning we got up early and headed to Wheatland so we could be there by 8. Mark had the pickup all set out for Rod to look over. It is really nice. We had lunch with Carol and Mark and had a great visit. After lunch we headed home and Maycee slept from Wheatland to Ogallala in Papa Rod's new pickup! We got home before the rain started. Home what a wonderful place!!
