Playing with Maycee and Ashton

Marty & Renee took the youth group from church to Acquire the Fire in Denver on Friday and Saturday. I had the privilege of watching Maycee and Ashton while they were gone. We colored, put puzzles together, watched Thumbelina, ate pizza and even dug for worms. Maycee said that she couldn't find her worm so when Rod stopped by he took her outside to look for it. A little bit later she came hurrying in with a huge earth worm squirming on her hands saying she needed a container. It had to be a least a foot long. We put it in a cut off plastic pop bottle and added some dirt. She wanted to know if worms had teeth so they could eat the dirt!! We had a great time and it's so convenient that Marty & Renee live close by.
