Rod & I took Marsha, Josie and Ardis out on Friday, August 7 instead of leaving early Saturday morning. Dolan, Charlie, Jasmine and Hannah met us at the motel and we all went out for supper at Casa Bonita. It's been years since we were there, but it hasn't changed at all. Yummy food and a fun atmosphere.
Hannah got one of the gadgets that lights up and had a great time with it. The flash obscured the lights that went round and round. Hannah is my "Hannah Banana" girl. She is so special and she loves to cuddle!
Here's the beginning of the tour with Rusty Carter as our creation tour guide. He brought his 2 young sons along with him.

Everyone is listening closely to catch it all. It's amazing how much of the displays are just conjecture.
This exhibit shows how different fish evolved. I prefer to call it "A Fishy Story". There is no proof of these changes. One of the fish has a covering that looks like a shield. All they have are fossils of the bones and no scales.
Then at the bottom right they have a cartoon at a child's level saying that our teeth came from scales. Rusty said that even the evolution scientists say that is not true, but it is still in the museum for the kids to see and assume that it's true. 
After touring the museum in the morning we all went to Morrison, Colorado to see Dinosaur Ridge.
We took a short hike up the hill to see the tracks in the rock.
