Grandma's Joys: Farm life at the Ranch

Wow what a fun time we have had. I’m just now slowing down from Anita, her girls and Rhiannon being here for a few days. They flew into Lincoln from Atlanta on Saturday, June 2 and stayed at Roxey’s for a couple nights and then drove to Wauneta. They also brought Rhiannon with them. Renee had a Creative Memories party for Anita to show off her scrap booking products. The kids rode horse, had lunch on the deck, picked strawberries, went to the Palisade parade, watched the guys work cattle, played dress up, went to the park, spent an afternoon on the boat at the lake and a few other things that I can’t remember. Rod even cooked a pork loin on the grill for everyone. Grandma Wheeler had each one of the girls spend a day with her. They all had a great time doing that. Rod and I took Rhiannon on Sunday, June 10 to Kearney to meet Roxey and Matt. She had fun with the kids, but by the weekend she was missing Mom and Dad. Then on Tuesday I drove Anita and crew back to Lincoln and they flew home on Wednesday, June 13. It was great. I wish Atlanta wasn’t so far away, but we will enjoy out kids and grandkids whenever we can. Todd, next time you will have to come too!
